About simtd.org

simtd.org is an independently operated information website. Its historical simTD section documents a past research project using cited public sources. The current website is not operated by, and does not represent, the original simTD consortium or its former project partners.

The operator of this website, the participants in the historical project, and the writers of new technical articles are three separate roles. No operating organisation has been named for this site. Articles are unsigned. This site does not inherit the project's name as an operating identity, its test record, its consortium members, or any endorsement from vehicle makers, suppliers, or public funders.

Between about 2013 and 2014 this domain hosted the website of simTD, a German Car-to-X field-test research project, in German and English. A technical university project page records www.simtd.de as that project's homepage. simtd.de is not operated here and is not treated as the same asset. Pages from the old website are not reproduced. The archive is a new summary of public sources.

New articles cover connected mobility, industrial connectivity, packaging automation and intralogistics. They do not claim that the historical research project developed packaging machinery, and they do not say that a simTD method can be applied to a packaging line. Protocol and interface notes are general. Example numbers are marked simulated or hypothetical. Equipment integration has to be checked by qualified engineers against the equipment documents and the safety requirements that apply. This site is not a test house or a certification body, and it does not sell equipment or request quotations.
