History and independence

This is an independently operated information website. Its historical simTD section documents a past research project using cited public sources. The current website is not operated by, and does not represent, the original simTD consortium or its former project partners.

Three roles stay separate

• The operator of this website. No organisation has been named. The author field on articles is an unsigned editorial slug, not a person from the historical project.
• The participants in the historical project, as named by the sources cited in the archive.
• The writers of new technical articles, who are not identified because no names were provided.

What is not inherited

• The project's name is the domain. It is not used as a claim that this site is the project.
• Consortium members and public funders are not a partner wall and are not "as seen in" endorsements.
• The project's tests, mileage and modelled estimates are not this site's experience.
• Packaging automation on this site is a new subject. The archive does not say the project developed packaging technology.

The other domain

A technical university project page records www.simtd.de as the project homepage. That domain is outside this website. It is not canonical, not an alternate language version, and not something this site controls.
